Alternate Chili Ten Mile Trail Run
This is a trail running event held on January 17, 2027, at Wyandotte County Lake Park in Kansas City, KS. The race follows the Psycho WyCo course and has been presented as a "taste of Psycho WyCo" on that course since 2001.
The event is a well-marked, 10-mile loop that is described as very hilly and offers limited aid stations. Participation is limited to 100 entrants. Packet pickup is held on race day only, beginning at 8:30 AM. Registration closes January 15 at 11:59 PM CT.
Included with the event are timing, event swag, finisher hardware, an oval finisher sticker, and free race photos. The race also provides chili described as beefy and rich and awards unique chili-pot trophies for first through third places in both male and female categories. No human pacers are allowed; well-behaved and leashed canine pacers are permitted.
