Alternate Chili Ten Mile Trail Run
The Alternate Chili Ten Mile Trail Run is a trail race held at Wyandotte County Lake Park in Kansas City, KS. The course is a very hilly 10-mile loop that is well marked and offers limited aid. The event is limited to 100 entrants.
Included with entry are timing, race swag, a finisher's oval sticker, finisher hardware, and free photos. Postrace chili is provided and unique chili-pot awards are given to the first through third finishers in the male and female categories. The first male and first female finishers receive free entry into the Psycho Wyco race. No human pacers are allowed; well-behaved leashed canine pacers are permitted.
Entry fee is listed as $50 now through race day. Packet pickup is available on race day only, beginning at 8:30 AM. Registration closes on January 15 at 11:59 PM CT. The event is presented as an alternate or preview run on the Psycho Wyco course and has been held in this format since 2001. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
