Altavista On Track Giblet Jog 5K
The Altavista On Track Giblet Jog is a 5K road race held in Altavista, Virginia on November 26, 2026. The course runs around English Park and into the back part of the park, with sections adjacent to the Staunton River. The organizers describe the route as flat and fast.
Registration fees follow tiered pricing: online pre-registration is $20 until November 5, online registration is $30 from November 6 through November 22, and race day registration is $45 at the Booker Building. Race day registration takes place at the Booker Building. Early packet pickup is available on November 25 and November 26 at the Altavista YMCA with pickup windows from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.
T-shirt orders are guaranteed only for participants who register by November 12. After that date shirts may be available at the race while supplies last; additional shirts are $10.
Awards are presented after the race at the Booker Building. Overall awards are given to the first three male and female finishers. First place male and female awards are also given in age groups 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
