45th Annual Alplaus Runaround
The event takes place on October 31, 2026 in Alplaus, New York, at 309 Alplaus Avenue. It is an annual community road race and community event that includes both a short fun run and a 5K race.
The 5K follows a paved course through the hamlet of Alplaus. The course is predominantly flat with several gentle downhill sections. The Alplaus Runaround 5K course is USATF certified. A separate One-Mile Fun Run is offered for participants of all ages, and there is a one-mile race specifically for children under 12.
