Event Overview
The Alpine Autism Center hosts the 19th Annual "Run for the One" 5k Walk/Run. This event benefits the center's clients and families affected by autism in the Pikes Peak Region.
Event Details
The event is a timed 5k race and walk held in April, which is Autism Awareness Month. It is based at Red Leg Brewing Company on Garden of the Gods Rd. in Colorado Springs.
Participants will receive a chipped race bib and an event t-shirt. All participants receive a participation medal. Awards pins are given to top finishers.
Registration is available on race day. Packet pick-up occurs on race day at the event location from 8:30-9:30 AM.
Awards
Pins are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories:
- 19 and under
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60+
Registration Categories
There are three registration categories with different prices:
- 5K (Adult 13 and up)
- 5K (Child 6-12)
- 5K (Child 5 and Under) - free entry
