Alpha Run - Bel Aire
The Alpha Run takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the Sunrise Christian Academy campus in Bel Aire, Kansas. The event is a fundraiser to support construction of the new Alpha Building, which will be built in phases and include a theater, a gymnasium, and a tornado shelter to serve the school and the local community.
Race options include multiple distances and activity choices:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile
- 200 meters (age 6 and under)
The 5k and 1-mile events are chip timed and include a bib, a T-shirt, and an indoor pancake breakfast. The 200-meter kids' run includes a bib, a T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and an indoor breakfast. There is also an indoor breakfast-only option and a combo option to run both the 1-mile and the 5k.
Entry fees listed by the organizer include $45 for the 5k, $30 for the 1-mile, $15 for the kids' run, $15 for breakfast only, and $60 for the combo. Awards are given separately for male and female classes across age groups 7-9 through 60 and over, with special medals for top finishers in each class.
