About the race
Alpha K9 5K is a fundraising event on September 27, 2026 at Warminster Community Park, 350 E. Bristol Road, Warminster, PA 18974. The event raises funds for the all-volunteer Alpha K9 Search and Recovery team to purchase K9 and ground personnel equipment and to support training for responses requested by state and local entities.
Two event options are listed:
- 5K running race
- 3K Walk walking only event
Registration and fees are specified by event. Registration for the 5K opens May 13, 2026 and closes August 27, 2026; the listed entry fee is $30 plus a $1.90 registration fee and the price increases after August 27, 2026. Registration for the 3K walk opens August 14, 2026 and closes September 27, 2026; the listed entry fee is $25.
Awards are given to the top 1 to 3 male and female finishers in each age group. Amenities include a course description with map, a t shirt, refreshments, water stations, and race baskets. Race timing is provided professionally by Bryn Mawr Racing Co.
