Event Overview
The Almond Blossom Run is a 43rd annual fun run in Ripon, California. It is part of the larger 63rd Annual Ripon Almond Blossom Festival. The event features two race distances: a one-mile race and an 8K race.
Race Details
The event starts and finishes at Mavis Stouffer Park, located at 1000 Stouffer St. The course runs on flat, paved streets and country roads in the area surrounding the park.
Registration & Pricing
Registration pricing is structured by age and race selection.
- One-mile or 8K race for youth (12 & under): $20.
- One-mile or 8K race for adults: $35.
- Entry for both races for youth (12 & under): $30.
- Entry for both races for adults: $50.
Registration includes a t-shirt for entries completed before February 2, 2026. T-shirts are also available for registrations completed by the end of the day on February 6, 2026, or while supplies last for purchase on race day. The event policy states there are no refunds.
On-Site Services
A water station is provided midway through the 8K course. Refreshments and light snacks are available at the start/finish line.
Awards
Awards are given to the first-place overall male and female winners for both the one-mile and 8K races. Awards are also given three places deep in all listed age divisions for both male and female categories in each race. Awards are presented on the day of the event and will not be mailed.
Age divisions for the one-mile race are: 8 & Under, 9-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over. Age divisions for the 8K race are: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
