All of the Colors Trail Race or Hike
All of the Colors is a combined trail race and hike held at Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum in Charleston, West Virginia. The event features a roughly 4-mile route that gains over 800 feet of elevation and follows green lanes, single-track woodland boundary trails, and open ridge tops with views up and down the Kanawha Valley during peak autumn foliage.
The course passes historic monuments and offers opportunities to see local wildlife such as deer and box turtles. Registered hikers receive an informational guide that highlights points of interest and historical markers along the route.
Registration opens on 2026-08-13. Standard online registration is $25 and day-of or live registration is $35 (cash or check). Event check-in and on-site registration are available on the day of the event. Designated parking is available at the East and West gates; the walk to the start may be up to half a mile. Event signage and stewards will direct participants to parking areas.
Participant items and event extras include a custom holographic arboretum sticker for all participants and a raffle with donated prizes. Awards are presented to overall first-place male and female finishers and to first-place finishers in multiple age groups; prizes include gift cards, arboretum prints, and event merchandise. Net proceeds support the Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum for tree planting and maintenance in the Mary Price Ratrie Arboretum.
