Alford Colour Run 2026
Alford Primary Parent Council is hosting its first Community Colour Run at Alford Community Campus on 27 June 2026. The event uses a fun course around the back of the campus with obstacles and multiple colour powder stations that may stain; the powder is described as non toxic and made from natural ingredients. All participants aged three or above may take part; children aged three to five who are not yet in school must be accompanied on the course by an adult. Any adult accompanying a child must be registered and pay the entry fee.
The race fee is £6.50 plus a booking fee and entries are non refundable. There will be no entries on the day and all participants must be signed up in advance. Registration takes place in the playground and opens 30 minutes before each wave; entrants collect a wristband and sunglasses before proceeding to the warm up area. The warm up and the run rules begin 10 minutes before each wave. Post race, participants receive a bottle of water and a medal.
Facilities and safety notes include toilets via the main entrance, uneven ground so appropriate footwear is advised and spiked or studded footwear is not permitted, and no dogs may participate. Photographs will be taken during the event and shared on the organiser's social channels. A tuckshop will be available and cash may be useful.
