Alford Colour Run 2026
Alford Primary Parent Council is hosting its first Community Colour Run at Alford Community Campus on 27 June 2026. Participants may run, walk, skip or hop around a course that runs around the back of the campus and includes obstacles and coloured powder.
The colour powder is non-toxic and made from natural ingredients but it may stain. All participants will be issued with a pair of sunglasses to protect their eyes. After the event each participant receives a bottle of water and a medal.
Participants must be aged 3 or above. Children aged 3 to 5 who are not yet in school must be accompanied on the course by an adult. Any adult accompanying a child must be signed up and pay to enter. All participants must be signed up in advance; entries are non-refundable and there will be no entries on the day.
Registration takes place in the playground and opens 30 minutes before each wave; entrants should enter via the right side of the campus beside the astro pitch to collect wristbands and glasses and then proceed to the warm up area. The warm up and run rules begin 10 minutes before each wave. Toilets are located within the campus via the main entrance. Wear old clothes, suitable footwear for uneven ground and avoid spiked or studded shoes. No dogs on the course. The race fee is £6.50 plus the booking fee.
