Event Overview
This is the sixth annual "Ales for Trails" event. It is a 5k run combined with a beer tasting. All proceeds benefit the Greater Greenwood Parks & Trails Foundation.
Location and Registration
The race starts and finishes in Greenwood, South Carolina. Registration on the day of the event is at 906 South Main Street (the Railroad Museum). The event is scheduled for March 14, 2026. Registration is available for three separate offerings.
Available Events
- Ales for Trails 5k: A standalone 5k run.
- Ales for Trails 5k w/ Beer Tasting Ticket: A combined entry for the 5k and the post-run beer tasting.
- Beer Tasting Ticket: A standalone ticket for the beer tasting, which does not include a race t-shirt.
Participant Information
For participants who register for the 5k before February 25, 2026, a t-shirt is guaranteed. The beer tasting portion of the event is open only to participants aged 21 and over. No pets are allowed at the event. The event will be held regardless of weather conditions, and no refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
