Aldbury 5 - 28 June 2026
Aldbury 5 is an off-road trail race held on 28 June 2026 at The Recreation Ground, Stocks Road, Aldbury. The course is 5.3 miles long and follows well marked paths around Ashridge Woods over varied trail and off-road terrain. The route is marshalled and the race starts and finishes at the recreation ground.
The event is organised by Aldbury Sports Club with the permission of the National Trust. A donation will be made from the entry fee of every participant. A Garmin GPS track of the route is available.
Entry is open with different fees for affiliated and non affiliated runners. Affiliated club runners pay £13.00 and non affiliated runners pay £15.00. An administration fee of 75p is applied to each entry by the online entry system. British Athletics, Welsh Athletics and UKA memberships are checked during registration and, if valid, the appropriate discount is applied; Scottish Athletics members can obtain a discount via their membership number. Entries on the day are permitted only if the race is not full.
Facilities include race numbers available for collection on the day from 9.30am onwards, water for runners, and sandwiches and refreshments provided at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
