ALBUQUERQUE RUNNING FIESTA

The Albuquerque Running Fiesta is the second annual race day held in downtown Albuquerque, at Downtown Plaza, on November 1, 2026. The event offers multiple race options that run through downtown and along landmarks such as Route 66 and the Rio Grande, with views of the Sandia Mountains.

Race distances include:

• 5K
• 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
• 26.2 Miles (Marathon)
• 5K (Virtual)
• 13.1 Miles (Virtual Half Marathon)
• 26.2 Miles (Virtual Marathon)
• 0.5 Miles (Kids Race)

The event is organized locally and gives back to the community. A post-race festival includes live music, vendors, a recovery zone, and a beer garden. Course support is provided with aid stations, medical and police support, timing and live tracking, and volunteers and cheer teams along the course. Results are professionally chip timed and include age-group awards.

Every participant receives a finisher medal, a custom event shirt, an official race bib, and access to course support and partner offers. The Kids Race has a limit of 100 participants, awards a medal to all finishers, and does not include shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
