ALBUQUERQUE RUNNING FIESTA
The Albuquerque Running Fiesta is a multi-distance event held in downtown Albuquerque at the Downtown Plaza. The event includes in-person and virtual race options that follow a scenic course through downtown, past Route 66 and the Rio Grande, with views of the Sandia Mountains.
Distances offered:
- Marathon, 26.2 miles (in-person and virtual)
- Half marathon, 13.1 miles (in-person and virtual)
- 5K, 5 kilometers (in-person and virtual)
Participants receive a finisher medal, a custom event shirt, and an official race bib with an option to have the bib personalized if registered before the deadline. The event provides race timing with live tracking, professionally chip-timed results, and age-group awards.
Course support and event services include aid stations, medical and police support, organized volunteers and cheer teams, and a recovery zone. The gathering concludes with a post-race festival featuring live music, vendors, local food and beverages, and a beer garden.
