Albany's Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run 5K
Albany's Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run is a community 5K run and walk through Washington Park. The event allows participants to run or walk the decorated Halloween course and encourages costumes. Registered participants receive a wicking fabric shirt. Chip timing is provided by ARE Event Productions.
Post-race recognition includes age-based divisional awards and top overall awards. Awards are given to 1st place Male, Female and Non-Binary, and the top three male and female finishers in each age category: 15 and under; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. A costume contest for registered runners includes categories for Best Adult, Best Duo, Best Original and Best Kids.
Parking for the event is available at nearby ParkAlbany lots including Parking Lot 2 at 72 Central Ave, Parking Lot 3 at 327 Washington Avenue, and Parking Lot 4 at 124 Central Ave. Event ground rules prohibit alcoholic beverages, glass containers and animals except ADA defined service animals. Entry fees are final and non refundable. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the race if weather creates hazardous running conditions.
