Annual Walk/Run - Bagel Run
The Albany JCC hosts an annual Walk/Run called the Bagel Run at the Albany JCC on Whitehall Road. The event brings together runners, walkers, families, and community members of all ages for multiple distance options and community activities on September 20, 2026.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- 1K Kids Fun Run (ages 7 and up, not timed)
Course maps are available for the 5K, 10K, and 15K routes. The event includes run packets for registrants that contain an official race shirt and other race items; packet pickup is scheduled on the two days before the event and on race day morning. Parking will be available in the JCC lot before the event, and Whitehall Road will have temporary closures on the day of the race. Volunteer roles include packet preparation, packet pickup and sign-in, and on-course assignments with volunteers remaining at assigned locations until the road is cleared.
Sponsorship opportunities are offered at multiple levels with specified benefits and race registrations. Registration pricing includes an increase to $55 on September 11, 2026.
