Albany JCC Run
The Albany Jewish Community Center Run takes place in front of the JCC on Whitehall Road in Albany, NY. The event is organized as a fundraiser to provide financial support for Albany JCC programs, including Early Childhood, Afterschool and Summer Youth programs and Cultural and Community programs.
Race distances offered include:
- 1K Kids Run/Walk, 1 kilometer, not timed
- 5K Run/Walk, 3.1 miles
- 10K Run/Walk, 6.2 miles
- 15K Run/Walk, 9.3 miles
Registration fees listed for the races are $15 for the 1K, $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K and $45 for the 15K. The price for registration for all races increases to $55 on September 11, 2026. Mailed entries have a received by date of Monday, September 14, 2026.
All registered participants receive a run packet that includes an official walk/run shirt and other race items. Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19; JCC members may pick up packets during regular JCC hours. On race day the JCC parking lot is available for early parking and Whitehall Road will have temporary closures to accommodate the event.
