Alabama Law Enforcement Torch Run
The Alabama Law Enforcement Torch Run in Lee County is a community running event held at Margie Piper Bailey Field, 910 Wrights Mill Rd, Auburn, AL 36830. Local law enforcement agencies organizing the Lee County area run include officers from Auburn, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, and the Opelika Police Department. The event features two distances:

Both event entries list a registration fee of $20. Registration opens March 25, 2026 and closes May 18, 2026. Participants are asked to wear the green Torch Run shirt to the race.
The runs support Special Olympics Alabama. The mission of Special Olympics Alabama is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in Olympic-type sports for children and adults with an intellectual disability, offering opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and take part in community activities.
