Akash Wine Run 5k : event details
The Akash Wine Run 5k takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Akash Winery & Vineyards, 39730 Calle Contento, Temecula, CA 92591, US. The event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk managed by J3 Timing. Registration, awards and logistics
Registration includes a T-shirt (super soft ring spun cotton), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a bottle stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but does not include the wine glass or a wine pour. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be picked up race day or shipped for a $10 handling fee. Packet pickup is race-day only.
The event offers age group awards for the top finishers in 10-year age categories; top finishers must start with the first wave to be eligible and awards must be picked up on race day. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate free and do not need to register.
