Aiden's Adventure 5k

Aiden's Adventure 5k is the fifth annual memorial run and community event held in Colorado Springs at 2010 Duckwood Road. The event honors Aiden, a five-year-old child, and directs all proceeds to Care and Share of Southern Colorado and to Catamount Institute in Aiden's name.

The event is offered in several formats and includes participant items and community activities. Distances:

• 5K in-person run or walk
• 5K virtual entry with mailed shirt and medal
• 1 mile kids dash for ages 11 and under

Registration options include entries that provide an official race t-shirt, treasure box, and finisher medal, and lower-cost entries that do not include a shirt or medal and whose fees will be donated. Event features listed by the organizer include a family friendly atmosphere with carnival games, rock painting, a butterfly release, food trucks, live music, and a flat dirt route that is stroller and dog friendly. The kids dash includes a decorating activity for signs to cheer participants. Virtual participants receive race shirts and medals by mail prior to the event date.
