Adventure Awaits 5k - Sayre, PA
The Adventure Awaits 5k is held at Riverfront Park in Sayre Borough, Pennsylvania. The course includes a mix of trail and road surfaces. Restrooms are available on site and at least one water stop will be staffed by local Scouts. The event is chip-timed by Falcon Race Timing and is organized by Great Falls Council, Scouting America; the race is hosted in Bradford County within the Winding Rivers District.

Registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes August 27, 2026. Early registration fee for the 5K and virtual 5K is $25; registration at packet pick up is $30. A t-shirt can be mailed for an additional fee of $6.95 for virtual participants who sign up before the registration deadline. For Friday and Saturday packet processing, only cash and checks are accepted.
The Kids Run is for children ages 2 to 10 who can run about 400 meters; a waiver is required for all child participants and every child who takes part receives a prize. Packet pick up is available the day before and the morning of the event. Awards follow the race for top men and women across multiple age groups including under 12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-64, and 65 plus, with overall top man and top woman prizes.
