ACVV Relay
The ACVV Relay is a road running event hosted in George, Western Cape, supporting the ACVV George charity. Organized in collaboration with Halfway Toyota George and Outeniqua Harriers, the event focuses on community participation and team spirit. Participants gather at Halfway Toyota George on Knysna Road to take part in a relay format.
The event is structured as a team competition where each team consists of six members. Each participant completes a distance of 1 km, resulting in a total team distance of 6 km. The relay is open to various groups, including business teams, running clubs, high schools, and primary schools. Mixed teams consisting of both male and female participants are welcome to enter.

The event operates under the rules of ASA and Athletics SWD. The minimum age for participation is 12 years. Runners and walkers must remain on sidewalks unless directed otherwise by race marshals. For safety and timing accuracy, the use of earphones, animals, or wheeled assistance is not permitted. The final runner of each team carries a baton equipped with a timing chip, which must be returned upon completion of the course.
All finishers receive a medal for their participation. Floating trophies are awarded to the winning teams in specific categories, including the first business team, running club, high school, and primary school.
