Event Details
The Active for Autism 5K, Run Walk & Family Fun Fest is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. The event takes place at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center, located at 6400 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Available Distances
Participants can choose between two events:
- A timed 5K run/walk.
- A one-mile fun walk.
The event is open to adults and children ages 4 and up. Babies and toddlers in strollers are welcome and do not require registration. It combines a community run/walk with a family festival focused on celebrating awareness and inclusion for individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Beneficiary
All proceeds support Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge (FHFGBR), a nonprofit organization. The funds help provide services, resources, and support for people with developmental disabilities in the local seven-parish area.
Logistics
