Action Dash 2026 : William Hawrelak Park, Edmonton
Action Dash 2026 is a charity run hosted by Action for Healthy Communities (AHC) at William Hawrelak Park in Edmonton on June 27, 2026. The event supports programs for newcomers, adult literacy, settlement and employment supports, and other community initiatives.
The event offers three course options:
- 5 km timed race
- 10 km timed race
- 1 km non-timed walk and run
Participants aged six and up may take part; children's tickets for ages 6-13 are 50% off at checkout. Course routes are planned within the park but may change due to weather or logistical conditions; participants are expected to follow the directions of race marshals and volunteers.
Race pack pickup is available at The Running Room (8537 - 109 Street). After the races, the program includes food, a cultural marketplace, and music.
AHC lists five fundraising tiers from CA$20.26 to CA$400. Donor names are featured in the Action Dash Run Club, at the event and on AHC materials, and some tiers sponsor participation for vulnerable clients. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
