Action Dash 2026
Action Dash 2026 is a charity run organized by Action for Healthy Communities. The event takes place on June 27, 2026 at William Hawrelak Park in Edmonton and is intended to support healthy living and programs that assist newcomers and strengthen community connections.
The event includes multiple race options:
- 5 km timed event
- 10 km timed event
- 1 km untimed event
Participants aged 6 and up may enter the 5 km and 10 km races, and children's tickets for ages 6 to 13 are offered at 50% off. Registration fees listed are CA$45.18 for the 5 km and 10 km, and CA$23.63 for the 1 km. Race pack pickup is scheduled at The Running Room, 8537 - 109 Street, on June 24 and June 25.
Action for Healthy Communities is a registered charitable organization supporting newcomer settlement, adult literacy, youth programming and other community initiatives. The event fundraising total is shown as CA$2,019.21. Fundraising tiers include Early Supporters, Sponsor a Runner, Bronze, Silver and Gold levels with specified contribution amounts.
