Event overview
ACOG on the Move! is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026, at Hains Point in Washington, DC. The event is organized by the ACOG Foundation. The Foundation promotes charitable, educational, and scientific initiatives that enable ACOG members and colleagues to improve the lives of people seeking ob-gyn care, their families, and communities. The event is described as the inaugural 5K for the foundation.

Each listed event has an entry fee of $35. Registration for the 5K opened on December 12, 2025, and registration for the 1M and Sleep-In opened on December 17, 2025.
Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back route at Hains Point and is described as fast and flat. It passes views of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers and several Washington, DC landmarks. The published location at Hains Point is noted as anticipated and subject to change. Coach-style shuttle buses will be provided to transport participants to and from the race venue.
