Achilles New Jersey Hope & Possibility : Rochelle Park, NJ
Achilles New Jersey presents its annual Hope & Possibility Run, Walk, or Roll, marking the eighth year of this community event. It takes place on September 27, 2026, at Saddle River Park, 3 Lotz Lane, Rochelle Park, NJ 07652. The event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities and specifically champions athletes living with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities while honoring military veterans.
Race formats include the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles Wheeler Half Marathon for handcycles, wheelchairs, and pushrims only
- 400 m Kids Fun Run
Registration fees listed for the main races are $45 and the Kids Fun Run is free. Registration opens June 17, 2026.
Funds raised support adaptive equipment and race entry opportunities, free weekly workouts, year-round programming, and a community that addresses isolation and builds confidence. On race day, parking in the main park area is expected to fill quickly; overflow parking is available at The Midland School, 300 Rochelle Ave, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662, and Knights of Columbus, 235 Rochelle Ave, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662.
