Achilles New Jersey Hope and Possibility
Achilles New Jersey holds an annual Hope and Possibility event on September 27, 2026 at Saddle River Park, 3 Lotz Lane, Rochelle Park, NJ 07652. The event brings together athletes of different abilities to run, walk, or roll and emphasizes inclusion and community connection.
Event options include:
- 4 Miles Achilles NJ Hope and Possibility 4 Miler. Fee $45.
- 400 m Kids Fun Run. Free.
- 13.1 Miles Wheeler Half Marathon for handcycles and pushrims only. Fee $45.
The organization champions athletes living with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities and honors military veterans. Funds raised support adaptive equipment and race entry opportunities, free weekly workouts and year round programming, and a welcoming community that addresses isolation and builds confidence.
Race day parking in the main park area can fill quickly. Overflow parking is available at The Midland School, 300 Rochelle Ave, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662, and at Knights of Columbus Rochelle Park, 235 Rochelle Ave, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662.
