Accrington Road Runners 10km
The event is a road running event held at Altham Industrial Estate, with postcode BB5 5UL for Sat Nav users. The main race is an undulating 10 km course that includes a 1.5 mile grandstand descent to the finish. The route combines rural and urban roads and is managed with traffic control and heavy marshalling throughout.
Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in male and female categories and across veteran age groups for men and women. Strictly no earphones or headphones are permitted. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a goodie bag.
A separate 2 km junior race runs on the day, with entry available only on the day of the event. There is ample car parking and refreshments available at the start and finish and at registration. Race numbers must be collected at the venue on the day.
