Dam Spooky 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Hansen Dam, October 17, 2026
The event takes place at Hansen Dam on October 17, 2026, with the start and finish on the path across from the Hansen Dam Skate Park. The course is an open path shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists, so participants are asked to be courteous to others.
The layout is an easy out and back with one small hill about 0.6 miles from the start. Distances and loop formats are:
- 5k 1 loop
- 10k 2 loops
- 15k 3 loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
There is an aid station at every loop. Aid station supplies include water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. A time limit of 3:15 applies; an early start may be available on request.
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, results posted within 12 to 24 hours after the event, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Transfers to another participant or to a later date are arranged through the organizer. The event has a no refund policy.
