Event Details
The Happy Father's Day event offers multiple race distances: 5k, 10k, 15k, and a half marathon. It takes place in Woodley Park, Lake Balboa, California.
All registered participants receive a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, and access to free photos and videos. Results are posted on the event website within 12-24 hours. An assortment of snacks and samples is also provided.
Course Information
The course is an open, out-and-back route described as easy to follow. It features one small hill approximately 0.6 miles from the start. Participants must use a pedestrian tunnel to cross under Woodley Avenue and are instructed not to cross the road itself.
An aid station offering water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels is available on each loop. The loop distances are as follows:
- 5k: 1 loop
- 10k: 2 loops
- 15k: 3 loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36-mile loops
The event has a time limit of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Runners requiring more time can request an early start via email.
Logistics
Bib pickup is from 6:50 AM to 7:20 AM. The event date is Saturday, June 20, 2026. The address is 6340 Woodley Ave, Lake Balboa, CA 91406, in Woodley Park Section 1. Check-in tables are at the north end of the parking lots closest to Victory Blvd.
Parking is available in the lots off Woodley Ave and Victory Blvd, with an overflow dirt lot across Woodley Ave near a golf course. Participants should use the tunnel, not cross the road, to reach the overflow lot.
Registration & Pricing
Registration is available through Active.com or PayPal. A group discount is offered for four or more people, which requires emailing the organizers before registering. Bib numbers must be worn visibly on the front for photos and timing. Transfers to a later date or another person are possible by email request, but the event has a no-refund policy.
