Rockin' Shamrock
The Rockin' Shamrock takes place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. This event features an open course where participants share the path with other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. The terrain consists of an easy out and back course with one small hill located approximately 0.6 miles from the start line.
Participants can choose from four different distances:
- 5k (one loop)
- 10k (two loops)
- 15k (three loops)
- Half Marathon (three 4.36-mile loops)
The half marathon distance has a time limit of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Aid stations are situated at every loop and provide water, Gatorade, and Gu gels. For the safety of participants, the course requires everyone to use the pedestrian tunnel rather than crossing Woodley Avenue.
Included in the registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, and an assortment of snacks and samples. The organizers provide free photos and videos of the event, and official results are posted on the website within 12-24 hours. Check-in and bib pick-up take place at Woodley Park Section 1, situated south of Victory Boulevard. Parking is available in the lots off Woodley Avenue and Victory Boulevard, with additional overflow parking located in a dirt lot near the golf course.
