About the race
The Golden Strides event on September 27, 2026 takes place at Ryan Bonaminio Park in Riverside, California. It offers multiple distance options on marked out and back looped paths along a shared-use park route.
Distances available:
- 5k out and back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
The course is described as easy to follow with marked turnaround points. An aid station at the turnaround near the start and finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Park restrooms are located about 200 to 300 meters from the start and finish area and are the only restrooms on the course. Parking is free in the park lot and on the adjacent street.
Participants may not run with dogs. Strollers are permitted. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit. No refunds are offered; transfers are handled by the event organizer. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free videos and photos tied to bib numbers, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges, an event app, snacks, and age group awards available for pickup at the race.
