Abilene Turkey Trot - Abilene, TX
The Abilene Turkey Trot benefits the West Texas Rehab Center and the Abilene Runners Club. The event features chip timing with a mass start and awards finishers medals to everyone who completes the course.
The course is a 5K route through the Lytle Lake neighborhood and begins and ends outside Shotwell Stadium at 1525 E.S. 11th. When arriving, roads will be blocked to through traffic and entry is available from the north side (Hwy 36 / ES 11th Street). Parking is available on the north and west sides of Shotwell Stadium; the Expo Center parking lot is locked at 10:30am and event organizers ask participants not to leave vehicles there after the race.

Entry fees listed for the event include $25 per person for the 5K and $17 for the 1 mile kids fun run. Early registration ends at midnight on 11-06-26 and shirts are not guaranteed after that date. Packet pick up and late registration are scheduled for Wednesday 11-25-26 at Abilene Running Company, 2654 Industrial Blvd, Abilene, Texas 79605. There is no race day packet pick up, though organizers note they will not turn away those who wish to register on race day. Race cancellation is at the discretion of the Race Director and the Abilene Runners Club and no refunds will be issued for cancellation.
