ABBATHON 5K & 10K Run

ABBATHON is an in-person running event at Heaton Park in Manchester on Saturday, February 20, 2027, that pairs an ABBA tribute performance with timed 5 km and 10 km races. The event is listed for all ages and includes paid parking and a no refunds policy.

Participants may run, jog, walk or dance around the park course. The event program features a live ABBA tribute act performing for at least 45 minutes before the race, a DJ, and music guides carrying speakers along the route; the team notes music coverage may not extend to every section of the course. Professional photographers will capture moments during the event and photos will be made available free within 72 hours.

Races are chip timed with race bibs provided and official times issued after the event. Finishers receive a special-edition medal inspired by ABBA elements. Post-race refreshments include fresh fruit. A limited edition ABBATHON finisher's T-shirt is offered for an additional charge of £19.99.
