About the race

ABBATHON 5K & 10K in Eaton Park, Norwich is a themed running event organised by Run Fanatics on Sat, 10 Oct 2026. The event combines a park run with an ABBA tribute performance and on-course music to create a music-led atmosphere around the route.

Participants may run, jog, walk or dance the course. The event includes a live ABBA tribute performance of at least 45 minutes before the race, a DJ, and music guides carrying speakers along the route, although music coverage is not guaranteed for every part of the course. Professional photographers will take event photographs and the organisers publish photos within 72 hours after the event.

Race entries are chip timed and runners receive race bibs with timing chips. All finishers receive a special-edition finisher’s medal. Post-race refreshments include fresh fruit. A limited edition ABBATHON finisher’s T-shirt is available for an additional cost of £19.99. Costumes and ABBA-inspired dress are optional.

The venue is Eaton Park, South Park Avenue, Norwich NR4 7AU. Travel information provided for the event notes Norwich Train Station as the nearest main station, local bus services including First Bus routes 25, 26 and 26A, limited on-site parking, bike stands in the park, and taxi access from the city and station. Registration is processed via the event ticket partner Challenge Chasers.
