Abbathon is an ABBA themed fun run offering two distances at Eaton Park in Norwich on Saturday 10 October 2026. The event combines a live tribute performance and on-course music with organised running in a park setting.

The programme includes a live ABBA tribute performance of at least 45 minutes before the run, DJs and music guides carrying speakers along the route. Music coverage is provided by staff positioned around the course, though full route coverage cannot be guaranteed. Professional photographers will capture race moments and make selected images available online within 72 hours.
All participants receive a race bib with chip timing so official times are recorded and published after the event. Registrations include race entry, a themed finisher medal, bottled water and fresh fruit. A special edition finisher’s medal is part of the event and a limited edition finisher’s T-shirt is available for an additional £19.99.
Practical arrangements noted by the organiser include posted race bibs approximately two weeks before the event, a designated bag drop area with items left at the owner’s risk, and water stations provided at regular intervals and at the finish line. The event is family friendly; children must be accompanied by a participating adult with one adult supervising a maximum of two children. Pets may spectate but are not permitted to take part.
