Aarhus City Half
The Aarhus City Half is an urban running event organized by Aarhus Motion. The event features a single distance:

The route is located in the heart of Aarhus and is 100% closed to vehicle traffic. The start and finish areas are situated at Rådhusparken and Musikhusparken, where participants can see landmarks such as the ARoS Art Museum, the Concert Hall, and the City Hall Tower. The course takes runners past more than 10 major attractions, including the Aarhus Cathedral, Dokk1, and Tivoli Friheden.
The event is characterized by an extensive entertainment program designed to support the runners. There are more than 60 hotspots along the route, featuring a variety of performers such as cheerleaders, brass bands, and music in designated power zones. A Tour Caravane, modeled after professional cycling races, travels ahead of the runners to engage the spectators stationed along the course.
Participants receive a T-shirt, a finisher medal, and a food bag containing various refreshments. The event attracts thousands of runners and approximately 50,000 spectators.
