A Warrant to Run 5K

A Warrant to Run 5K takes place on April 10, 2026 in Frankfort, Kentucky. The event is based at Rocky's Pub and uses the old Ducker's Golf Course near 98 Buena Vista Drive. The event includes an in-person 5K, a group-of-six discounted entry, and a virtual 5K option.

The race is hosted by the United States Army Warrant Officer Association Longrifle Chapter. The chapter includes active and retired Warrant Officers and aims to recognize Warrant Officer excellence, provide mentorship and scholarship opportunities, and represent the history and professionalism of the Warrant Officer cohort.

The course is an intermediate cross country format with gentle to moderate rolling hills. The route is a loop that only intersects with other paths near the finish. Awards will be presented to the top three male and top three female finishers. A Most Patriotic plaque will also be awarded for patriotic dress.
