A Walk in Her Shoes
A Walk in Her Shoes is the 9th annual community cancer awareness walk hosted by My Sister's Keeper–Cleveland. The event takes place on October 3, 2026 at Fatima Family Center, 6600 Lexington Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44103. It features a 2-mile neighborhood awareness walk and a community resource fair.
The program includes vendor and small business participation, live entertainment, music, raffles, and a vendor marketplace. Community partners and healthcare providers will offer resources, education, and support. Cancer screening services such as mammograms, prostate screening, and multiple myeloma screening will be available for those with scheduled appointments. Walk bags and event t-shirts are provided while supplies last. Registration is free.
My Sister's Keeper moves the event to a different Cleveland neighborhood every two years to engage new communities and bring awareness, education, and support locally. The event gathers survivors, caregivers, family members, healthcare advocates, and community members to celebrate survivorship, honor loved ones, and connect attendees with health and wellness opportunities.
