A Stroll for Sara is a memorial walk held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on August 8, 2026. The event is a 3.2 miles walk in memory of Sara and to raise funds for research and support programs for Triple Negative Breast Cancer through the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
The route begins at Hunt Park (1035 Daniel Street) and proceeds through the Water Hill neighborhood and downtown Ann Arbor, finishing at YORK Food & Drink (1928 Packard Street). The walk concludes at YORK; a portion of proceeds from a featured cocktail at the venue will be directed to the fundraiser. There is ample street parking near both locations and participants are responsible for their own return transportation.
Registration opens June 27, 2026 and closes July 13, 2026. A registration fee applies and local participants receive a commemorative T-shirt. All registration fees and donations are allocated to a research grant funded through the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation. Organizers report that an initial fundraising goal of $100,000 was reached and that fundraising will continue to support TNBC research and patient programs.
Remote participation is available; participants may walk, run, bike, or otherwise move 3.2 miles from their own location and still contribute to the event's fundraising efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
