Peanuts Event Series in Los Angeles
The A Charlie Brown Christmas 5K/10K takes place at Griffith Park, located in the center of Los Angeles. This holiday-themed event features an officially licensed Peanuts theme and is part of a national event series that has seen participation across all 50 U.S. states.
The course is set within the park at 4670 Crystal Springs Drive. It is designed as an out-and-back route that is flat and fast. Participation is limited to the first 2,000 registrants. Several distance options are available for participants:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Snoopy Dash (1K distance for children aged 12 and under, untimed)
- Virtual Edition (At-home option for 5K or 10K distances)
Registered participants receive an officially licensed Peanuts finisher medal, a participant bib, and a performance blend t-shirt. The event includes an appearance by Santa and provides post-race refreshments for those taking part in the physical event. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the race at this location.
