9/11 Memorial & Museum 4M Presented by RXR
This event is a 4 mile race in Central Park that marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The race will bring approximately 5,000 participants to Central Park and remembers the nearly 3,000 people killed on September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. The event also honors the service of those who helped the city recover and rebuild.
All funds raised support the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s educational programs and help keep the Memorial free to the public. All registrants receive a commemorative New Balance tech t-shirt. The race is a scored event and counts as a 9+1 program qualifier.
Logistics published by the organizer include number pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street and a bag check that accepts only clear bags no larger than 17 inches wide x 20 inches high x 7 inches deep. Live, unofficial runner tracking is available in the NYRR App and official results will be posted on the organizer’s results site. Awards are presented on site to the top three overall finishers in the men, women, and nonbinary divisions; age group award claim procedures are available after the event.
