9/11 Heroes Run - Yuma, AZ
The 9/11 Heroes Run in Yuma is a community memorial event held at Colorado River State Historic Park, 201 N. 4th Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85364. The event invites runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since, and to support local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
The event program includes a running division and a rucking division organized in partnership with TMF and GORUCK. Rucking follows a practice in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. All participants registered in the GORUCK division will receive this year's TMF GORUCK patch. There is also a volunteer registration option.
