Yuma Territorial Marathon & Half Marathon : January 30, 2027
The Yuma Territorial Marathon is organized by the Caballeros de Yuma and takes place at Cocopah Resort and Casino in Somerton, Arizona. The event offers multiple race options, including:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- Team Relay
The marathon course is certified by USATF and serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier. The course is an out-and-back route with minimal elevation change; it drops about 74 feet near the start and returns those feet a few miles before the finish. Runners use the shoulder of a highway for much of the route; bicycles, strollers, and unregistered runners are not permitted on the course. Drones are prohibited without written consent from the host.
Registration is available online and at on-site packet pickup. Packet pickup is offered Friday between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm before race day and also on race morning up to one hour before the scheduled race time. All participants receive an official technical fabric T-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards and cash prizes are presented to the top three male and female finishers in both the Marathon and Half Marathon categories.
