9/11 Heroes Run - Feasterville, Pennsylvania
The 9/11 Heroes Run is a community athletic event held at Russell E Elliot Memorial Park in Feasterville, Pennsylvania. The event is organized by the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) and focuses on uniting the community to honor the heroes of September 11 and those who have served the nation since that time. This includes veterans, active duty military, first responders, and families of the fallen.
Participants can choose from several event categories focused on a 5K distance:
- 5K Run (Individual or Active Duty Military/First Responder)
- 5K Ruck (Individual or Active Duty Military/First Responder)
The rucking divisions are presented in partnership with GORUCK. Rucking is an activity based on special forces training where participants complete the course while carrying a weighted rucksack. Individuals registered for the rucking division receive an exclusive TMF GORUCK patch as part of their participation.
The event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. In addition to the running and rucking categories, there is an option for individuals to participate as volunteers. The venue is located at 150 Buck Rd, providing a central location for local community members to gather and participate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
