9/11 Heroes Run - Baton Rouge
The 9/11 Heroes Run - Baton Rouge is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at River Parishes Community College in Gonzales, Louisiana. The event honors the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served the nation since, and aims to activate and unite communities while supporting local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
Multiple event formats are offered for a range of participants, including runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. The event includes a volunteer option and specific race divisions.
The run includes a GORUCK rucking division offered in partnership with TMF. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. All participants registered in the GORUCK division will receive the event's TMF GORUCK patch.
