About the race
The 7k for Kids Fun Run is a family-friendly running event on October 11, 2026, hosted by Opportunity for All Kids and the Center of the American Experiment in Plymouth, Minnesota. The venue is the Plymouth Community Center Millennium Garden at 14800 34th Ave N.
Event participation options include:
- 7k run
- 5k turnaround for runners, walkers and strollers
- Zero mile fun run
Registration fees are listed as $25 for participants aged 13 and older and $15 for children 12 and under (rates noted through September 10). Admission is shown as $10 to $25. All 5k and 7k participants will receive a race t-shirt and refreshments; t-shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by October 1. The zero mile fun run is free and does not include a t-shirt.
A raffle for a $7,000 scholarship toward K–12 private school tuition in Minnesota will be held during the event. Raffle tickets are sold on site, priced at $10 each with a maximum of five per purchaser. Ticket buyers must be at least 18 years old, must be present at the drawing, and must designate a currently enrolled Minnesota private school student as the scholarship beneficiary. Employees and family members of the host organizations are ineligible for the raffle.
