7 Sisters Trail Race
The 7 Sisters Trail Race is a 12 mile trail event on the ridgecrest of the Holyoke Range along the M-M Trail in Amherst, MA. The out and back course follows technical singletrack and gains over 3,500 ft of elevation. Runners traverse rocky ridgelines with views overlooking the Connecticut River and encounter steep hills, sharp rocks, exposed roots, and occasional ledges that may require jumping down and walking.
The event typically attracts over 500 participants who pick up race bibs on site. Runners are required to carry their own hydration; the race provides two manned water stations on course. The event is organized by local volunteers who staff water stations, bib pickup, the halfway turnaround aid, and the finish line.
