Event
The Seven Sisters Trail Race is scheduled for May 2, 2026, in Amherst, Massachusetts. The event is a single race of 12 miles on an out-and-back course that follows the ridgecrest of the Holyoke Range along the M-M trail. The course has more than 3,500 ft of elevation gain.
Course details and support
The trail is technical singletrack with steep hills, sharp rocks, roots, and exposed ledges that may require jumping or walking. Runners are required to carry their own hydration. Two manned water stations are available to refill bottles during the race. Race merchandise is offered.
Participation and volunteers
The race typically registers over 500 runners. Volunteer roles described include staffing bib pickup, water stations, the halfway turnaround aid station, and the finish line. Sponsors include Inov-8 and there is an organizational partnership with a local mountain club. Race transportation is provided by a named provider.
