Event overview
The 5K On The RUNway takes place on October 3, 2026 at Bishop International Airport in Flint, Michigan. The course is a flat 5-kilometre route on the airport runway. The event is organized by the Crim Fitness Foundation and includes a post-race gathering at Genesee Career Institute with food items such as cider and donuts. The finish area will provide water; other food is available at the post-race location.

Logistics and registration
Packet pick-up is available at the Crim Office on the Friday before the race and at Genesee Career Institute on race day. All participants and spectators must be pre-registered to access the airport; spectators need a spectator pass. Participants pick up a bib and present ID at a pre-shuttle security check. Only clear bags are allowed through security; gear check is available for approved clear bags. MTA shuttles will transport participants between Genesee Career Institute (event parking) and the airport; the shuttle ride is under five minutes. Prohibited items include weapons and fireworks.
