5K MujerRun
5K MujerRun is a community running and walking event held at Kensington Park, Playfield West shelter, 4570 Huron River Parkway, Milford, MI 48380 on September 20, 2026. The event features a 5K course and welcomes both runners and walkers.
Registration opens August 20, 2026 and closes September 16, 2026. The registration fee is $30. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by September 8. Medals are provided to all finishers and awards are given to the top three finishers. There are no refunds.
The course is on paved roads and strollers are allowed. All participants must be registered to participate. Race directors reserve the right to cancel the event in case of severe weather. The park charges a $10 entrance fee for visitors without an annual pass. Bathrooms and a play area are available at the shelter. Water, refreshments, and protein snacks will be available at the finish. Participants are advised to bring their own lunch for the postrace gathering at the Playfield West shelter.
Proceeds and donations support La Casa Guadalupana, a nonprofit focused on education, health, and support services in Southwest Detroit Hispanic communities. Friends on Board Foundation will match donations dollar for dollar up to a total match of $3,000. Sponsorship and booth opportunities are available.
