Event details
The Accent Pontiac Green Bucket 5K Run/Walk takes place on November 8, 2025 in Bloomfield Hills, MI (1340 West Long Lake Road). The event includes a 5K race and a Kids Fun Run (untimed). The 5K course begins at Kirk in the Hills/Long Lake Road and uses mildly flat and hilly paved roads around Island Lake. The course is USATF-certified. Volunteers will be stationed along the route and a vehicle will be available to pick up participants who cannot finish. Every runner receives a race bib and a T-shirt.
Registration and logistics
Early registration prices apply through Friday, October 3: $40 general, $25 for students, and $30 for Pontiac residents. After that date and for walk-ins the fee is $45. A promotional code for Pontiac residents is PONTRES and a code for students is STUDENT. The Kids Fun Run has no entry fee. Packet pickup is available on race day at Kirk in the Hills; signs and marked tables will direct participants and snack donations are collected at check-in. Proceeds benefit Accent Pontiac, and there is an option to sponsor a runner through a donation program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
