5K For the Planet
The 5K For the Planet is the second annual event organized by the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN). Held in Richmond, Virginia, the event takes place within the grounds of Joseph Bryan Park. This event is designed as a fun run and walk, allowing participants to choose their preferred pace while navigating the course.
The race follows a 5K route entirely on a paved trail. Participants will encounter small hills throughout the park during the run or walk. Richmond Road Runners Club assists the organizers by providing finish line services for the event.
