About the race
Terwillegar Park in Southwest Edmonton hosts the first race in the Northern Alberta 5 Peaks Trail Running Series. The course uses hilly single track through over 186 hectares of parkland in the river valley and includes technical trail sections with steep descents, riverside climbs, roots, rocks, and sharp up and down hills. Runners pass areas popular with families and dog walkers, so care is advised near the start and finish area.

- 16.2 km Enduro run or hike
Aid and facilities include water and electrolyte drink at the start and finish area and at one or more aid stations on course, washroom facilities at the start and finish area, and limited parking. The event is cup free; participants should carry a receptacle if they expect to be on course for more than an hour. Finisher swag and sustainably sourced wooden medals made in Canada are available and can be purchased during registration or on site while supplies last. Awards are presented to the top three finishers by gender in each age and distance category, plus top three overall. Awards must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed.
