5 Peaks Trail Running - Crawford Lake
The Crawford Lake trail run is the fourth event in the 5 Peaks Ontario Trail Running Series. Held within the Crawford Lake Conservation Area, the venue features a distinct natural environment and is home to three reconstructed Indigenous Longhouses. These structures provide educational insights into the area's Indigenous history through exhibits and specialized gardens.
The event offers several trail distances to accommodate different experience levels and age groups:
- 1 km (Kid's Race)
- 3 km (Kid's Race)
- 6.1 km (Sport Run or Hike)
- 12.3 km (Enduro Run or Hike)
- 18.4 km (Grit Run)
Course maps and distances are subject to updates based on trail conditions on the day of the event. Due to the technical nature of the trails and total attendance, certain items are prohibited on the course, including dogs, headphones, strollers, and nordic walking poles. Washroom facilities are located at the start and finish area.
This is a cup-free event, meaning no disposable cups are provided at aid stations or the finish line. Participants are required to carry their own hydration receptacles. Registration for individual races does not include swag or finisher medals; however, these items are available for separate purchase. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age and gender category for all distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
