5 Peaks Crawford Lake : event description
The fourth race in the 5 Peaks Ontario Trail Running Series takes place at Crawford Lake Conservation Area. The park combines trail running terrain with cultural interpretation; it features three reconstructed Indigenous longhouses used for programs, exhibits, gardens, and workshops developed with Indigenous partners.
Race distances and maps listed for the event include:
- Kid's Race - 1 km
- Kid's Race - 3 km
- Sport Run or Hike - 5.5 km
- Enduro Run or Hike - 11.1 km
- Grit Run - 16.7 km
Routes for 2026 have been modified due to construction. Race distances and maps are subject to change based on trail conditions up to the day of the event.
Practical notes and rules: dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles are not allowed on course. Washroom facilities are available at the start and finish area. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drink are provided at the start and finish and at one or more aid stations. Participants expected to be out for more than an hour are advised to carry a receptacle for fluids and calories. Swag and finisher medals are not included with individual registration and must be picked up at the race.
