5 K's for Kölsch - Halfway Crooks Kölsch Fest
The event is a 5 km fun run held in Atlanta at the HC Biergarten on April 18, 2026, as part of the Halfway Crooks Kölsch Fest on April 18 and 19. The 5 km distance is made up of five separate 1 km routes. Three distinct 1 km routes are mapped and marked; participants complete five 1 km segments in the suggested order or in their own combination. Routes will be marked and staffed by volunteers, with maps available on site.
For each completed 1 km segment the participant earns one 20 cL pour of Farina Kölsch. Pours are redeemed at the HC Biergarten using the race bib as a coaster tally during festival hours. Registration includes the five 20 cL pours, early entry to the festival for runners and walkers, discounted preorder access to a Kölsch Fest tee, and access to upload run time via the event portal. The event will not be chip timed, will not be scored, and there are no top-finisher or age group awards.
Check-in takes place behind Halfway Crooks at the orange runningnerds tent on Reed Street; participants should check in shortly before their selected wave.
